Fusion™ Switch 10 Ports POE
The IgniteNet FusionSwitch™ FNS-PoE-10 is a cost-effective L2 managed switch with eight Gigabit PoE ports and two 1G uplink ports. The FNS-PoE-10 is a full-PoE fanless design, it supports PoE on up to 8 ports at 15.4 W, or 4 ports at 30 W to meet the increasing power demands of users for IP cameras, IP telephones, or access points. With powerful software and hardware features, the FNSPoE-10 is designed for SMB and enterprise markets and provides plenty of management options, including a console port.
Performance and Scalability
The IgniteNet FusionSwitch PoE is a high-performance Gigabit Ethernet Layer 2+ managed switch with 128Gbps switching capacity. The switch delivers wire-speed switching performance on all Gigabit ports, taking full advantage of existing high-performance Gigabit CPEs, PCs, 11n/ac Wi-Fi APs etc, significantly improving the responsiveness of applications and file transfer times.
Continuous availability is accomplished with the support of IEEE 802.1w Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol, IEEE 802.3ad Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP), and G.8032 Ethernet Ring Protection. The IEEE 802.1s Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol runs STP per VLAN base, providing Layer 2 load sharing on redundant links up to 65 instances.
The FusionSwitch PoE can provide up to 30 Watts of power to attached devices, such as VoIP phones, wireless access points, surveillance cameras, etc, all over existing Cat. 5 cables. This eliminates the need for individual power sources for devices in the network, saving on costs for power cables and avoiding power outlet availability issues. If the power demand exceeds the switch’s maximum power budget, ports can be prioritized to receive power.
